Sonya Paster is a graphic designer who believes in keeping brands in peak condition. With over 30 years of experience, Sonya has the knack for crafting visual identities that her clients love and are perfectly aligned, some refer to her as the Super Trainer for their Brand. Why? Because she has nailed the perfect combo of being a fitness junkie, brand strategist, and dynamic designer. 

Sonya’s approach to branding is rooted in curiosity. She digs deep to understand each business's core, ensuring that every design element aligns perfectly with the client’s vision and values. This alignment is crucial, just as proper form is essential in any workout routine. Her goal is to deliver clarity, consistency, and confidence, ensuring every client falls in love with their brand.  

Sonya possesses expertise across various design specialties, ranging from logo creation to developing complete brand identity packages. She recognizes that a truly fit brand requires attention to detail, akin to a holistic health strategy. By consistently guiding businesses in uncovering their unique voice and visual identity, Sonya ensures that their brand stands out as strong, cohesive, and prepared to tackle any challenges and opportunities that come its way.

Throughout her career, Sonya has experience across various industries and roles. As the owner of SPJ Design since 2018, she’s been helping startups and entrepreneurs build strong, healthy brands from the ground up. Previous to starting her own company, she spent over a decade with Dynamic Design & Systems, Inc. working with a team that managed brands for a diverse client base, including corporate, non-profit, and professional services. Before joining that team, Sonya was the Art Director for Manheim Advertising Inc. 

Sonya has an unwavering commitment to her clients’ success and works alongside each brand as their creative partner. From small businesses to established, legacy brands and among her peers she is recognized as an insightful, intentional brand strategist. 

When she’s not designing, Sonya maintains her own creative fitness through continuous learning, networking, and giving back to her community. Locally, she serves on the board of BNI’s Gateway to Success Chapter in Solon and the Knitting for Cancer, an organization providing comfort to cancer warriors. She believes that staying curious and open to new ideas keeps her designs fresh and innovative.

Dedicated to honing her talents and nurturing her creativity, Sonya is actively engaged in a community tailored for creatives and another for fitness enthusiasts where she finds inspiration and motivation. Immersing herself in a professional creative mastermind community populated by graphic designers, brand architects, and marketing professionals enriches her professional growth. Additionally, she partners with Bodi, previously known as Beachbody, as an in-home wellness provider, motivating and supporting individuals on their fitness journey.
